Liverpool will have to pay a €10m release clause if they want to sign Arne Slot from Feyenoord to succeed Jurgen Klopp.

Slot has become one of Liverpool latest options as they search for a new manager this summer after Klopp announced in January his decision to leave the club before his contract expires next year.
The UFABET, a British media outlet, reports that Feyenoord will not block Slot departure because there is a release clause set for 10 million euros, or around 8.59 million pounds, in the contract that runs until 2026, which is consider a figure. Pretty high for a manager.
The report, citing inside sources, said Feyenoord were increasingly unhappy with Slot’s agent Rafaela Pimenta’s continue attempts to offer the 45-year-old to other clubs.
Meanwhile, if there is a departure from Feyenoord this summer, it is believe that Slot will bring his right-hand man Zipke Hulshoff along with him to continue working at the club. It is one of the conditions that the new club must accept.
For the Slot that led Feyenoord to win the Eredivisie championship last season and won the Dutch Cup this season. Previously there had been interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea. But in the end both clubs chose Ange Postecoglou and Mauricio Pochettino.
